SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regard to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial here variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider level created for intervention ordeals a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
